The Crime Time Theater group puts on a Train Murder Mystery in the Lebanon area entitled "Once Upon a Crime in Lebanon." They have partnered with the Lebanon RR and the Golden Lamb to put together a really nice package. The mystery cost, $60/person covers a train ride, a meal at the Golden Lamb and the mystery. I cannot attest to the quality of the mystery yet, but I am excited to see them perform. It looks like their mysteries are selling out pretty quickly. That, coupled with the hot time of year for murder mysteries, around Halloween, means that spots will fill up fast, so book early.

  “ I had high hopes for this mystery because I noted on the Crime Time Theater that this mystery was selling out regularly and that it incorporated a train. That being said, I was a little disappointed. I have broken things into pluses and minuses below: Pluses: 1. Interactive for an actor centered mystery. Included guests in a few speeches and did a funny guest dance. 2. Didn't just sit around, moved from the train to the Golden Lamb and through rooms in the Golden Lamb. 3. We solved the mystery! Minuses: 1. Mystery seemed rushed and because of the speed very few people followed the plot (4 people out of 65 guessed the correct killer). Way to go us for following this quick mystery. 2. Train was poorly used. The mystery didn't really happen until the last 45 minutes of the 4 hour event. 3. Mystery was a pirate based mystery on a train. Arrgh you kidding me? 4. They did a summary. I hate summaries. Please just give us enough clues along the way to solve the mystery. ”
